OUR POLICIES

Payment is expected at the time of service for all encounters, inlcuding blood draws and/or tests performed.  A waiver acknowledging this policy must be signed.

A current fee schedule is on display at the office.  In general, fees are based on a current charge of $400/hr for all consultations. * Fees are subject to change!

New Patient Consultations are $450 per hour.

Established patient consultations are $400 per hour.

ALL VISITS ARE BASED ON TIME!!!

Insurance claims will be generated for those patients who pay out of pocket for services.  Then insurance reimbursement will be sent to the patient.  Insurance that Dr. Vinitsky is a participating provider will be submitted by our office to the insurance, but co-pays are expected at the time of service.

Fees for Medical Reports and Testimony, research and administrative fees are collected before receiving the service or report. Fees are based on a $350 per hour fee schedule.

Scheduling for a visit is by appointment only.  Patients calling in should provide a reasonably accurate symptom list so that appropriate time can be allotted.   Other administrative details (like other family prescriptions, forms completion, etc.) will be deferred to another occasion, as a courtesy to other patients who have scheduled appointments.

Appointments not Cancelled  24 hours in advance for established patients will be charged $25.  48 to 72 hour notification is necessary for new patients and physicals due to the allotted amount of time.  There will be a $100 charge without the appropriate notification for established patients and the full consultation charge for new patients. Cancelling the day of an appointment counts as a "missed appointment" and the patient will be charged.  

Emails cancelling appointments, WILL NOT be regarded as an appropriate form of notification.  

There must be a phone call or a voice message left with the answering service or staff member. An incremental $25 fee will be added to those who consistently cancel appointments the day of the appointment.

Dr. Vinitsky or a backup physician will be available. Lengthy consultations will be charged according to our regular phone consulation fee schedule.

Prescription refills will be accommodated as soon as practical.   Expect a 48 hour turnaround. Do not wait until the weekend or after hours to renew.

OUR primary goal is to provide a timely encounter without interruption.  That does not imply that every visit will result in immediate and complete cures and treatment.

Environmental Evaluations are comprehensive and are likely to be expensive.  The testing is consistent with quality medical care.  Results will only be reviewed in person unless the patient is out of state.  Phone consulations are $65 for every 10 minutes. Although, regular follow-ups are encouraged and necessary for continued treatment.  Emails that include medical questions or advice regarding treatment WILL  in a fee of atleast $5. Depending on the amount of time the doctor spends on the answer ofyour medical question, the email may have a larger fee.

Medical Reports to insurance companies, agencies, etc., depend on a thorough evaluation.  Rebuttals are sometimes required.  There will be a charge depending on the time the doctor spends on the report.

 

Even if you have INSURANCE COVERAGE, it DOES NOT mean that your visit, labs, or other service will be covered. PLEASE check with you insurance BEFORE coming to your visit, getting blood drawn, or having a procedure done. It is imperative that all patients are aware of their own specific coverage.

 

Insurance

Enlightened Medicine accepts a few INSURANCE COMPANIES.  Patients with insurance that Dr. Vinitsky is not a participating provider will pay in full at time of service.  One claim form will be generated at each visit for submission by the patient for reimbursement.  The companies that Dr. Vinitsky is a participating provider (will be submitted by the office) are as follows:

Dr. Vinitsky is NOT a participating provider for MEDICARE, but out of courtesy we submit claims, accept what they pay and adjust the appropriate amount. 

Insurance participation is subject to change, which makes it the patient responsibility to check INSURANCE COVERAGE for consultations and laboratory testing.
